I lead interdisciplinary initiatives using mixed methods and citizen science approaches, with a strong focus on historically disenfranchised and vulnerable populations, including racialized communities and children and youth. My research program applies a health equity lens to issues such as climate change and health, active living, nutrition, chronic disease prevention, and health policy, with an emphasis on translating evidence into meaningful action. My team partners with communities, healthcare practitioners, and policymakers to co-conceptualize and evaluate innovative program and policy solutions to complex health challenges.
