CHANGE Research Lab

Why CHANGE?

Chronic disease
Health equity
Active living
Nutrition
Global communities
Environmental health

Endemics, pandemics, and
chronic disease all have a disproportionate, negative impact
on marginalized communities.

It’s 2024. Why is this still the case?

The social, economic, and ecological conditions which shape health influence population groups in different ways. We cannot address disparities in health outcomes without remedying the root causes of health inequities.

Citizens’ voices matter.

We must amplify citizens’ voices, because together, we are stronger and can influence real change. Citizens and communities are the experts in their own health and social wellbeing.

The CHANGE Research Lab aims to collaborate, co-create, and partner with communities to address the most pressing health issues of our time.

Digital tools have the potential to empower communities through
real-time engagement, data ownership, and knowledge sharing.
